The work of the school counselor at St. Mary Catholic School aligns with the school’s mission to provide an environment where Jesus’ message of love meets the spiritual, intellectual, physical, and emotional needs of our children. The goal shared by school administrators, teachers, parents, and the community is to prepare today’s students to become tomorrow’s adults that are:
Moral, Accomplished, Responsible, and Yearning to Learn.
The School Counseling Program includes classroom guidance, individual and small group counseling, consultation with parents and teachers, crisis intervention, and referral services. Special programs are offered throughout the school year to address the current needs of the student population.
