Education Students from 6 weeks old through the 8th Grade

Grades 6 through 8

Middle School

The curriculum in our middle school (grades 6 through 8) is rigorous and collaborative.  St. Mary’s provides a small school environment where middle school students receive the personalized attention they require to develop academically, spiritually, and socially.  The teachers hold academics in high esteem while educating the whole child remains a key component to instructional strategy.

Study skills and work habits that began in the lower school are reinforced by teaching enhanced note-taking, research, annotation, and close reading strategies.  Christian values, respect for individual differences, and the importance of community are taught through students’ daily interactions with their teachers and classmates. Students graduate from St Mary School with the skills necessary to succeed in high school and beyond.
