SCRIP

Some of you may already be familiar with our Scrip program but for those of you that are not, below is some information. Please contact Marian Warner at mwarner@stmarymobile.org with any questions.

What is SCRIP?

SCRIP is a non-selling program that allows families to raise money for a non-profit organization of their choice. Scrip is a way to pay for every day purchases with gift cards instead of cash or credit. SCRIP is fundraising while you shop! You buy gift cards from 750+ retailer brands you already shop at & earn a rebate on every gift card you purchase at face value. That rebate goes right back to your organization.  These gift cards also make great teacher gifts while helping our school.

How it Works:

To participate in the SCRIP program you need to create an account on the ShopWithScrip.com website. There you will find over 750 retailers that participate in this program including grocery stores, retail stores, hotels, home improvement stores, gas stations, etc.

You’ll need to enter our enrollment code which will link your account to our organization. St. Mary Catholic School’s Enrollment code is 8LL938C67437

SCRIP Products:

  • Physical Gift Cards — These are the same gift cards you get at the store. Use them instead of cash or a credit card! Scrip orders are placed on Monday by 10 am & gift cards will go home with your student Thursday of that week.
  • ScripNow®—ScripNow is an eCard that you can buy and receive instantly. You can print a paper gift card at home, or redeem it immediately on your mobile device for certain retailers.

Rebates:

The rebate amount that the school receives varies from vendor to vendor. They range from 2% to 25%. (Callaghan’s offers 25% all the time!!) Each month there are Bonus vendors who will have a higher rebate that month so be sure to check them out!
